Roman R. Beyer is a licensed engineer with Steinke Beyer, Inc., involved in accident investigation and prevention. Prior to founding Steinke Beyer, Mr. Beyer was a Managing Engineer in the Human Factors Group of Failure Analysis Associates (Currently, Exponent Inc.) He specializes in accidents involving mechanical and human interface systems, including automated, robotic, and microprocessor applications. He also has performed a wide range of work in the area of tire, wheel, and brake systems. Mr. Beyer has more than 20 years of experience in engineering consulting and has testified as an expert witness in more than 30 trials and given over 80 depositions.
Donald G. Parent a licensed engineer with Steinke Beyer, Inc., specializing in the design and analysis of products and capital equipment. Mr. Parent was Engineering Director with First Light Technology (currently, Steag Hamatech, Inc.), where he led the development of products and machinery for manufacturing compact discs, CD-R’s, DVD’s and other optical media. He specializes in design and failure analysis and in accident investigation relating to products and machinery. A holder of 9 patents, Mr. Parent has approximately 20 years experience as a licensed engineer, more than 3 years as an independent consultant, and he has testified as an expert witness.
