| Roman Beyer Principal Roman Beyer is a mechanical engineer specializing in failure analysis, safety, and accident investigation work. After receiving his Masters in Mechanical Engineering from Stanford in 1980, he spent 15 years with Failure Analysis Associates, Inc., Menlo Park, CA (Currently, Exponent, Inc.) Roman has performed a wide range of work in the area of tire, wheel, and brake systems. His work includes numerous inspections, testing, failure analysis, accident reconstruction, and employee training on tires, wheels, and brakes related to trucks, passenger vehicles, motorcycles, off-road vehicles, recreational vehicles, and aircraft. He has also testified as an expert witness on driver response and vehicle handling in accidents involving tire disablements. |
Don Parent, East Coast Regional Manager Don Parent is a specialist in products and capital machinery. After receiving engineering degrees from Stanford and Northeastern, he held several engineering design and product development positions in private industry. Don has extensive experience in the design and analysis of fully integrated and automated process machinery and in failure and risk analysis. As a principal with Steinke Beyer and D2 Systems, he has conducted failure and risk analyses on large industrial machinery, and designed operational and safety improvements to automated systems used in industries such as consumer products, medical products, steel products, and others. He has testified as an expert witness on matters involving product design, safety, and human factors. |
